 Milo’s Mission 

The Titusville Police Department is committed to the safety of our community members, and that commitment extends to our beloved animal family members. 

Over the years, we have provided safety messages by way of social media, public service announcements and community outreach events via our Pet Safety Advocate, “Milo” and his mission of providing awareness of animal safety.

Milo was a rescued, adopted and loved by members of our TPD family for over a decade. Sadly, Milo has recently passed away, however our department is steadfast in continuing his legacy of animal kindness, compassion, best practices and safety education. 

With that said we are excited to continue “Milo’s Mission” and announce a new pet safety initiative, PET ALERT STICKERS.

These no cost stickers provide crucial information to first responders who answer “calls for service” to a residence. The information on the posted stickers informs members of fire and police departments if there are pets inside the home.

Our department members respond to residences for a myriad of reasons, such as, wellbeing checks or home alarm calls. When this sticker is posted, responders will have immediate knowledge about animals inside the home, allowing for a more educated and effective response.
