On December 8th, 2009, the City of Titusville enacted Ordinance No. 45-2009. Pursuant to the Ordinance, any mortgagee who holds a mortgage on real property located in the City of Titusville shall, within ten (10) days of the date that the mortgagee declares its mortgage to be in default, register the real property with the City and, at the time of registration, shall designate in writing a local property manager to inspect, maintain, and secure the property in default. Per Resolution 35-2010 the City of Titusville charges a $150 property registration fee.
