On Sunday May 11th, 2025, at approximately 3:12 PM, Titusville Police Department responded to a reported indecent exposure incident near the 2000 block of Cheney Highway. Patrol officers met with the reporting party to gather the necessary information.
Detectives then took over the investigation and were able to identify the male as Antonio J Kent DOB 10-05-1978 of Mims Florida.
This investigation revealed Kent was exposing and touching himself in a lewd and obscene manner while sitting in his vehicle, identified as a gray Nissan four door sedan.
Kent left the scene before law enforcement arrival.
On Thursday May 15th, 2025, at 6:41 PM, Kent was observed driving a blue Ford SUV by law enforcement. At this time there were active charges for Kent’s arrest for the incident which occurred on May 11th, 2025. A traffic stop was conducted on Kent on Palmetto Avenue.
Kent was informed he was a wanted individual. Kent then fled the traffic stop in his vehicle. After a pursuit, Kent stopped his vehicle near the 1400 block of Norwood Avenue and was taken into custody Currently, Antonio Kent is being charged with the following:
• 1 Count - Exposure of Sexual Organs
• 1 Count - Habitual Felony Violent Offender
• 1 Count - Fleeing and Eluding with Lights and Sirens
• 1 Count - Resisting Arrest without Violence
• 1 Count - Violation of Condition of Pretrial Release
Kent is being held at the Brevard County Detention Center on a no bond status.
Kent is a registered sexual offender in the state of Florida.
Titusville Police Department has investigated prior complaints of similar incidents occurring and believe there may be other victims that have yet to come forward. Kent is known to drive the gray Nissan four door sedan and a blue Ford SUV.
