Titusville Police have arrested a man in connection with the homicide of a local woman.
Rod Patrick Swim, 32, of Titusville, was charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
On Saturday, August, 07, 2021, at approximately 1:22 PM, Titusville Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on the 4000 block of Coquina Avenue.
The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect shot the victim multiple times and then dialed 911 to report his actions.
Officers responded to the scene and located the suspect outside of the residence.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The victim, Sarah Swim, 29, of Titusville, with apparent gunshot wounds was located inside the residence and later pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else in the home was injured.
Swim was booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.
