A local man was killed in a traffic crash when his vehicle struck a concrete utility pole at approximately 5:30 AM on Saturday, July, 24, 2021 near the 600 block of North Washington Avenue (US #1).
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Roy Keith Carter, 65, of Titusville, driving a white 2018 Buick Encore, traveling southbound in the northbound lane of North Washington Avenue, veered off the roadway and struck the pole.
No other vehicles were involved.
Carter, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 6:30 AM.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
