At 11:39 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, Titusville Police responded to multiple 911 calls in reference to a physical confrontation between at least two males by the gas pumps at the 7-11. Subsequent 911 calls reported shots were fired at that scene. Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Additionally, during the course of the altercations, Britt pointed a gun and threatened a female victim, who was with the victim at the time of the incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two suspects fled the scene southbound on Palm Avenue in a white Ford Taurus.

Officers spotted the suspect vehicle and a brief pursuit ensued. Police blocked the vehicle near the intersection of Barna Avenue and Majestic Court.

The suspects fled the disabled vehicle on foot.

Britt unlawfully entered a residence on the 1700 block of Barna Avenue.

Both suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.
