Titusville Police have arrested a local man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022, which left two women dead and a man seriously injured.
AMOS-ALIZE TYRONE LAFFETTE JONES JR., 25, of Titusville was charged with:
2 Counts of First-Degree Murder
1 Count of First-Degree Attempted Murder
The preliminary investigation revealed Jones, who knew the victims, shot all three at a homeless/transit campsite located in a wooded area of the property on the northwest corner of Tropic Street.
Jones fled the scene before officers arrived.
Jazmyn Marie Davis, 24 and Eileen Rodgers Marconi, 58, both of Titusville, were deceased at the scene.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The investigation led to the identity of the suspect. Detectives located Jones and took him into custody without incident at approximately 12:30 PM.
Jones was booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.
