A local man was struck and killed by a vehicle at approximately 8:30 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021, near the 1400 block of North Washington Avenue.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was walking in the roadway southbound on North Washington Avenue towards oncoming traffic, when he was struck by a blue 2004 Ford F 150 truck driven by Jason A. Kittles, 43, of Mims, who was traveling northbound on North Washington Ave.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no other injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
