Titusville Police are investigating the early morning burglary of a local independent jewelry store that occurred at approximately 3:40 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
The preliminary investigation reveals Stephens’s Jewelers located at 2825 Garden Street was burglarized by two suspects described to be black males wearing all black clothing, gloves and masks over their faces.
Video surveillance shows the suspects using a glass breaker to enter the front door of the business and then stealing several thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise.
The suspects left the scene in a newer model white BMW X3 and possibly headed west on Garden Street toward Interstate 95.
