The annual “Kids vs. Cops” basketball game ended with a final score 39 to 36 and raised hundreds of dollars for student programs and activities.
Titusville Police Officers took on Andrew Jackson Middle School’s Generals Boys and Girls Basketball teams on Tuesday November 18, 2022 in the much-anticipated charity event.
Both teams spilt wins over the past few years. This year’s game would prove who had the most dominate basketball skills and earn them bragging rights for the rest of the year.
It was certainly a close game, and strong defenses made offensive scoring difficult. At halftime, Titusville Police Officers were ahead by nearly 20 points, but that would quickly change. Even with the department’s secret weapon player, the Generals rallied in the second half to ultimately win the game!
Congratulations to all of the players and students! Better luck next year Titusville Police Officers!
