A local woman was killed in connection to a reported hit-and-run traffic crash occurring at approximately 4:10 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
The preliminary investigation revealed Ryan Emory Lobe, 34, of Titusville, driving a 2009 Harley Davidson cruiser model motorcycle, traveling northbound on South Street (SR 405) was stuck by an unidentified, possibly black car, that failed to yield to the red-light traffic signal at the intersection of 3600 South Street and Park Avenue. Subsequently, Lobe crashed his motorcycle injuring himself and an adult female passenger.
Lobe sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The adult female crash victim was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to her injuries at approximately 5 AM.
There were no other injuries.
This remains an ongoing traffic investigation and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
