The mission of the Neighborhood Services Department is to:
- Expand economic opportunities
- Plan, implement, and manage projects and activities that principally benefit very low- and low-income persons by providing decent and safe housing and a suitable living environment
- Strengthen partnerships among all levels of government and non-profit and for-profit organizations
