Shortly after 8PM on Sunday night, January 30th, officers responded to a report of shots being fired and a vehicle speeding in the area of Knox McRae Dr and Jupiter Ave.
Arriving Officers found a vehicle at the north end of Jupiter Ave with a deceased male inside.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound. A handgun, ammunition and illegal drugs were found inside the vehicle.
Detectives are working information that the victim was involved in a drug deal at the time of the shooting.
