The health and safety of our citizens and Staff is the City’s top priority. Staff continues to provide uninterrupted essential city services. Staff has implemented various extra measures at all of our facilities following both CDC and FDOH guidelines and measures for infection prevention.
With the City facilities closing to the general public, Staff is maintaining essential services to citizens through the preferred use of technology and telephones. Our goal is to have no service interruptions in Public Safety (Police, Fire and Emergency Services), Public Works (solid waste pick up) and Water Resources departments.
The City is making provisions to limit the access to Parrish Park in accordance with CDC recommendations of gathering no more than 10 people.
Coronavirus testing criteria has been revised to include:
- Aged 65 years or older or an underlying medical condition
- Fever (100.4°F/38°C or higher)
- Cough and respiratory difficulties
- Respiratory shortness of breath
