Major Tom Barry

Tom Barry retired as Deputy Chief in 2017.

Tom grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University in 1984 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice.  Tom started his law enforcement career with the TPD in May of 1987.  He was promoted to Sergeant in 1997, Major in 2004, Commander 2014, and Deputy Chief in 2015.

Commander Barry has overseen Patrol, Investigations, Family Services Unit, and is a past Executive Director of the Titusville Police Athletic League. He is a graduate of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) 2008.
