Chlorine Dosing Completed

The City of Titusville completed the chlorine dosing of its entire water distribution system on March 13, 2017.  We have returned to our usual drinking water treatment process. As part of this treatment, Titusville uses chloramines (a combination of chlorine and ammonia) for disinfection.

Persons undergoing dialysis or with a compromised immune system should be aware that it may take several days until chloramines have reached all areas of the water distribution system and should consult their health care provider to determine whether any adjustment to their treatment is needed during or after the return to the use of chloramines. Anyone with a fish tank or pond (including grocery stores, restaurants, and bait shops) should contact a pet or aquarium professional to determine the need for any adjustments to aquariums during this transition.

          Focus on         Water Quality

Thank you Titusville water customers. Your cooperation during the recent chlorine dosing allowed us to continue our efforts to provide you and your family with best quality drinking water possible.
