4th of July Trash Pickup: Friday’s (July 3rd) pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Thursday (July 2nd), and Thursday’s (July 2nd) pickup will be on Wednesday (July 1).  There will be no other changes for the week.

James Fickey 1981 to 2004

James “Jim” Fickey joined our department in October of 1981.
 
Jim made Detective early in his career having served in both Criminal Investigations and Special Investigations. He later served as supervisor of the Vice Unit. Jim also served as a crime prevention practitioner, school resource officer, and served for many years as our internal affairs investigator.
 
Jim graduated the prestigious FBI National Academy, Session 174, and received two unit citations and 1 Officer of the Month during his career. Jim retired in 2004.
