4th of July Trash Pickup: Friday’s (July 3rd) pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Thursday (July 2nd), and Thursday’s (July 2nd) pickup will be on Wednesday (July 1).  There will be no other changes for the week.

Retiree- Delores "Dee" Ball

Served 28 years

Delores “Dee” Ball began her career with the City of Titusville in 1963 when she was hired as a Secretary. Dee was hired on at the Police Department in 1967 as a dispatcher – the pay rate for dispatcher at the time was $1.81.

In May 1972, she accepted a position as an administrative assistant in the Investigations Section. She remained in that assignment until 1992 when she became a Crime Scene Technician. She retired in 1995.
Dee was recognized as the Civilian Employee of the Quarter in 1985, as well as several other accolades during her tenure.
