ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: S. Park Avenue at Smith Lane (south side of Smith) will be closed for TWO WEEKS starting October 15 at approximately 6 a.m.  The road will be closed 24-hours a day throughout the time period.  A detour will run through Smith Ln. out to Park Avenue and the side streets such as Rosella and Tudor.

Search Warrant Served on Drug House-Three arrests made

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Just after 8:00 pm on Friday 6/2/06, members of the Titusville Police Special Operations Unit (SWAT) served a search warrant at 200 Ojibway St and made three

arrests relating to the Sale of Cocaine and a warrant for Possessing Stolen Guns.

 

This is the second drug warrant served at the residence this year.

 

After complaints from residents of the thickly settled residential neighborhood- which is next to a school and church- Investigators from our VICE Unit began investigating. Detectives found evidence of drug activity and prostitution at the house. Undercover agents were able to purchase cocaine from residents of the home on two separate occasions.

 

The following arrests were made:

 

Lane Audree Bell, 39 of Ojibway St. (SALE COCAINE)

Billy Gene Sconners, 45 of Titusville.(SALE COCAINE)

Thomas Walter Witt, 30 of Titusville (Violation of Probation;

warrant out of South Carolina for Possessing Stolen Firearms)

 

All were being booked into Brevard County Jail.
