Business Academy to Promote Teamwork
Tuesday, October 08, 2013

The Titusville Police Department will be hosting the first annual Titusville Police Business Police Academy. The academy will consist of four one hour classes aimed at addressing and educating our local businesses by offering a variety of topics that address our business community. These topics will include identity theft and fraud prevention, business security, crime prevention, business preparedness for hurricanes and natural disasters, crime scene investigation, fire prevention and awareness as well as a presentation from our State Attorney’s Office.

Chief Lau stated the following about the new Police and Business Initiative "To my knowledge, this is the first business initiative of this kind in our area.  Our objective is to improve our relationship between the Titusville Police Department and our Business Community while educating attendees on the latest issues in the Criminal Justice System."

We strongly encourage any local business owner to take advantage of this opportunity. The courses will be held at the Titusville Police Department.
