TITUSVILLE, FL -After some significant planning, the Titusville Police Department teamed up with BCSO, FDLE Task Force, and the State Dept Probation & Parole to make a significant dent on criminal activity in the North Brevard area.

Over Thursday and today, 28 arrests have been made for crimes ranging in Sale of Cocaine, Possession of concealed weapons, and active warrants.

The operation included a “Buy-Bust” operation in which undercover operatives purchased drugs from known criminals and were immediately apprehended. Dwayne Antwan Mitchell, 24, was charged with numerous counts of Violation of Probation and was booked into jail with no bond.

“We are committed to continuing this aggressive approach to ensure we get these violent criminals off our streets” -said Chief Tony Bollinger. “A teamwork approach with both our citizens and other law enforcement agencies is proving to be very effective”-added Chief Bollinger.
