Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash

At approximately 12:30 PM on Wednesday, May 6th 2020, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a bicyclist and vehicle near the intersection of North Dixie Avenue and Garden Street (SR 406).
The preliminary investigation revealed an adult male riding a bicycle crossed from the south into the westbound lane of Garden Street. The victim was struck by a tan 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Tony Rowe, 41, of Merritt Island, traveling westbound on Garden Street
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
