Titusville Police Detectives have arrested three more suspects in connection to the February 7th 2018 early morning shooting on Gilbert Street.
Detectives made the arrests on Friday February 9th 2018 after it was discovered that the suspects were tampering with the victim and witnesses of the shooting that seriously injured the victim.
Talisha Lashawn Prince, 40, of Titusville- Conspiracy to Tamper with a Witness.
Dontay Jermaine Smith, 40, of Titusville- Conspiracy to Tamper with a Witness.
Reginald Jordan Murray, 23, of Merritt Island- Tampering with a Witness.
Dimetrious Cornell Smith, 41, of Titusville- Solicitation to Tamper with a Witness and Conspiracy to Tamper with a Witness.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects intimidated and made direct threats of bodily harm to the victim and witnesses in person and through third person conversations.
“Our citizens can be assured that when they come forward with information, we will not tolerate them being tampered with or threatened in any way”, stated Criminal Investigations Division Sergeant Bill Amos.
All suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail. Dimetrious Cornell Smith was already in custody at the jail and faces these additional charges.
