|Description: ||ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:|
Manual labor in a variety of maintenance activities in the Streets Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department. Labor includes grounds maintenance, weeding, mowing, edging in highways and medians. Knowledge of applicable safety hazards and precautions required. Willingness to perform routine unskilled work.
Requires current Florida Drivers’ License. Driving record will be checked. Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform heavy manual labor. Prefer one year of related construction/ maintenance experience. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Subject to emergency call out during off-duty hours and on weekends as required. Sufficient Work is occasionally performed under adverse weather conditions.
