VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ON
CITY’S BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
The City Council of the City of Titusville is looking for citizens to fill vacant positions and serve on the following boards and commissions:
Affordable Housing Advisory Committee – There are vacancies for the following classifications: For-Profit Builder, Essential Services Classification, Home Building Classification, Employer in the City, Non-Profit Housing Provider, Home Builder, Banking/Mortgage Professional, Citizen at Large.
Board of Adjustments & Appeals – The term of one (1) alternate member for a term to expire on July 31, 2023.
North Brevard Library District Board – The term of one (1) regular member for a term to expire on September 30, 2024.
Planning and Zoning Commission – The term of one (1) regular member for a term to expire on January 31, 2024.
Titusville Environmental Commission – The term of one (1) alternate member for a term to expire on November 30, 2023.
Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization Citizens Advisory Committee - The term of one (1) regular member.
In most instances, interested persons should be a current resident of the City of Titusville for at least one year, as well as a registered voter (City of Titusville Code of Ordinances). Board powers, duties, and responsibilities are also prescribed by Florida Statutes and the City of Titusville Code of Ordinances.
