The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on Thursday, August 5, 2021 for the twenty five (25) addresses on Avilez Blvd: 212, 218, 219, 224, 225, 230, 231, 236, 237, 242, 243, 248, 249, 254, 255, 260, 261, 266, 267, 272, 273, 278, 279, 284, 290 and 3652 Sanchez Terrace has been rescinded.

 

Bacteriological surveys show that the City of Titusville drinking water serving this area is safe to drink.

A Precautionary Boil Water Notice was issued on Thursday, August 5, 2021 for the following twenty five (25) addresses on Avilez Blvd: 212, 218, 219, 224, 225, 230, 231, 236, 237, 242, 243, 248, 249, 254, 255, 260, 261, 266, 267, 272, 273, 278, 279, 284, 290 and 3652 Sanchez Terrace.

 At approximately 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 5, 2021, the water main that serves the residences at the addresses listed above was shut off in order to make repairs to a broken water main on Avilez Blvd. The broken water main has been repaired and this notice is issued as a precautionary measure only. As a precaution boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. Allow water to cool down before drinking. Bottled water can be used as an alternative. Your water is safe for bathing, laundering, and other non-consumptive uses.

This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey confirms that the water is safe to drink. Notices will be issued to all residences when the Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been rescinded. This Notice is anticipated to be rescinded by Saturday, August 7, 2021.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on Monday, November 2, 2020 for the following addresses, 322A, 322B, 324, 326, 330, 336, 342 South Washington Av and 315 South Hopkins Av has been rescinded.
