The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee meeting was held at the Harry T. Moore Social Service Center, 725 S. DeLeon Avenue.

Members present were Committee Chairman Robinson, Vice-Chairman Gary, Member Coles, Member Manning, and Eddy Galindo, Principal Planner. City Staff present were Tracy Davis, Neighborhood Services Grants & Contracts Compliance Manager, and Sheila Martin, Neighborhood Services Special Projects Coordinator.

Motion to approve the October 16, 2023 minutes made by Vice-Chairman Gary, seconded by Member Coles.
Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote of yes.

V. NEW BUSINESS
- Review draft 2024 Housing Incentive Plan for adoption
Chairman Robinson asked if there was anything included within the draft of the 2024 Incentive Plan regarding the Live Local Act. Tracy Davis stated that there was a reference made to the Live Local Act under Incentive C. Chairman Robinson then provided a brief overview of the Live Local Act regarding the intention to offer incentives for developers to use converted commercial and industrial properties within city limits to build affordable housing, and that he, like many others are still learning about the detailed specifics of the Live Local Act. Chairman Robinson also confirmed with City Staff that the available property list included in the draft Incentive Plan is subject to the Live Local Act.
Motion to accept and present to City Council the draft 2024 Housing Incentive Plan made by Vice-Chairman Gary, seconded by Member Coles.
Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote of yes.
