The Historic Preservation Board (HPB) of the City of Titusville, Florida met in regular session at City Hall in the Council Chamber, located at 555 South Washington Avenue on Monday August 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

Chairman Kiesel called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.  Present were Vice Chairman Petyk, Secretary Adams, Member Jonas, Member Green, and Alternate Member Kirk. Member Gaetjens, Member Foster and Alternate Member Shifalo were absent. Also attending was Redevelopment Planner Tim Ford and Recording Secretary Laurie Dargie.

Vice Chairman Petyk motioned to approve the minutes from the June 6, 2022 meeting. Secretary Adams seconded. There was a unanimous voice vote in favor.

Nomination form HPB#1-2022 for 4050 Coquina Avenue

Mr. Ford gave a brief overview of the item.

The Historic Preservation Board had discussion regarding the nomination.

Vice Chairman Petyk made a motion to accept HPB#1-2022 application for 4050 Coquina Avenue and the recommendation from the Historic Preservation Officer with S&ME to have a formal meeting.  Member Jonas seconded.

Update from the 2022 Florida Trust Preservation on Main Street conference.

Mr. Ford requested that this item be tabled until the September 6, 2022 Historic Preservation Board meeting.

Member Davis gave a brief update regarding attending the conference for one day.
