| The Operations Division is the largest division within the department, providing the emergency service levels to the community that are inherent to the title--fire department. We are an all-hazards department, providing emergency services to our community and supporting these services through proper skills training and resource management. These emergency services include responding to fires of all types, medical calls, vehicle accidents, biohazard and terrorist threats, weather emergencies, vehicle accidents and service calls. Supporting services to this division include emergency skills training, physical training, equipment and supplies, vehicle and facility maintenance.
The Operations Division is headed by the Operations Chief, with clerical support supplied by the Volunteer Coordinator/Clerical Assistant and our cadre of community volunteers. The Operations Chief provides direct supervisory leadership and control over the EMS/Training Section and the shift Battalion Chiefs.
