The Titusville Police Department is continually accepting applications for Police Officer and Dispatcher positions, regardless of the number of openings for either position. Applicants meeting requirements could continue in the selection process, be offered employment, or placed in an eligibility pool awaiting a position to become available.
Candidates are encouraged to download applications*; or pick up applications at either the Titusville Police Department or City Hall. Please return the completed application to City Hall to begin the selection process.

The selection process for Police Officer and Dispatcher with the Titusville Police Department is rigorous and somewhat time consuming. The process is designed to assist us in the crucial task of selecting candidates who are going to perform to the high standards demanded by our community. We highly recommend that you:
1) Complete your application thoroughly.
An illegible application or one with errors or frequent omissions will not be considered. It is important that your application reflects the work ethic that you will bring to the Titusville Police Department if selected for employment. Applications which fall short of these standards will be discarded.
2) Be on time for your appointments.
Tardiness is not acceptable from our employees and it is certainly not tolerated from an applicant who wishes to be considered for employment. If for some unforeseeable circumstance you are going to be delayed or unable to make your appointment for testing, you are expected to notify the office of training and recruiting as soon as possible to make the appropriate notification and arrangements. Inability to attend a set testing event may delay your processing.
3) Dress appropriately.
Remember that you are competing with others for a position. We are looking for professionals. Look the part.

Any expenses incurred by the applicant for lodging, transportation, meals...etc. while processing for employment with the Titusville Police Department is the responsibility of the applicant regardless of the processing outcome. Successful completion of these tests does not necessarily guarantee that an applicant will gain employment.
