CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Master Officer Mark Morgan (Ret.)

Mark Morgan joined our department in May 1980. Along with Patrol duties, Mark worked in CSI as a criminalist, as a Detective in Vice (Special Investigations), as a SRO (School Resource Officer), Motorcycle Officer, and Communications Supervisor.
 
Mark was promoted through the ranks making Sergeant in 1992 and Lieutenant in 1994.
 
Despite his rise through the ranks, Mark recognized his true love in police work as being on the street as an Officer. In 2000, Mark requested to be reassigned as an Officer and was awarded  Master Officer status.
 
 
Mark was recognized numerous times during his career including: Five Officer of the Months, Queens Honor, Good Conduct, Life Saving, Exceptional Service, Educational Achievement, Officer of the Year, Jack Schnell Traffic Safety Award in 1997 & 2000, 1988’s MADD Award for most DUI arrests, and 1998 IPTM/FDOT Traffic Officer of the Year.
 
Mark retired in January of 2007 and stayed on as a Reserve Officer.
