Michelle Flowers

Michelle has been with the Titusville Police Department since 2005.  Previously, she served with the Office of the State Attorney, 18th Judicial Circuit, for 4 years as the Lead Domestic Violence Victim Advocate.  Our Victim's Advocate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Warner University, an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Orlando College, and is a licensed FDLE Instructor who teaches Domestic Violence classes.  She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice/Public Administration.

Michelle has conducted numerous seminars throughout the State of Florida on the cycle of domestic violence and the effects it has on children, families and the community. She was awarded the Victim Advocate of The Year in 2002, Victim Advocate of the Year 2012, and the Titusville Police Department's Civilian Employee of The Quarter for 2006. Michelle also served for 3 years in the United States Army.

Our Victim Advocate provides victims with support, assistance and crisis intervention at a time when it is most needed. The initial shock following a crime, sudden death or other trauma, is harsh and painful for those involved. The victim advocate is an additional resource in the police department which allows us to focus more attention on the victim(s).

The City of Titusville's victim advocate is a dedicated and highly-trained professional. Our advocate is on-call 24 hours a day and seven days a week. She's able to respond to the scene of a crime, accident or victim’s home at the request of a police officer.
