Child Sexual Battery Suspect Arrested In Georgia

Titusville man accused of the sexual battery of two children has been caught in Georgia, arrested and brought back to Brevard County to face charges.
Titusville Police were notified Sunday July 10th 2016 that a child under 12 years old and a child over 12 years old were sexually battered by the suspect.
An arrest warrant was issued for Michael Anthony McCollum, 40, of Titusville, on Monday July 11th 2016. Titusville Police Detectives and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office “Game Over” Task Force followed valuable investigative leads and McCollum was subsequently located and arrested in Georgia.
McCollum was extradited to Brevard County and charged with 4 counts of Sexual Battery of a Child, 3 counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation and Violation of Probation, booked into the Brevard County Jail on Wednesday July 20th 2016 and is being held with no bond.
