Suspect with 30 Felony Convictions Arrested Again

A serial burglar with over 30 felony convictions, most of them being burglary and possession of burglary tools, was caught burglarizing a Titusville business.
The investigation revealed that on July 14th 2016 at 1:15 AM, the suspect threw a rock through the glass door of Fastenal Hardware located at 369 Cheney Highway and removed merchandise.
After witnesses notified police, alert officers spotted the suspect leaving the scene in his vehicle. They conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested him.
Kenneth Wayne Fernandez, 56, of Orlando, was charged with BURGLARY OF AN UNOCCUPIED BUILDING AND GRAND THEFT. The stolen merchandise was recovered along with burglary tools including a crowbar, mallet and micro torch.
The Titusville Police Department remains vigilant in efforts to reduce burglaries of Titusville businesses occurring overnight. 
Fernandez is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail with an $11,000 bond.
