CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Offender Sweep Yields 7 Arrests, Drugs and Stolen Guns

Titusville Police arrested seven parole and probation offenders during a citywide sweep on Wednesday June 22nd 2016.
 
Investigators conducted 32 resident searches which resulted in the seven arrests as well as seizing 33 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana and 3 firearms. Two of the firearms seized were stolen.
 
All the suspects are from Titusville with the exception of James Posley Senior who is from Mims. Below are their names and charges:
   
I am so proud of our Investigators for their efforts in takings more guns and drugs off of our streets”, said Chief John Lau. “I would also like to thank our probation and parole partners as this was a joint operation”, added Lau.
 
All suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail.
