Police Investigating a Motorcycle Crash Fatality

At approximately 3:45 PM on Monday, June 13th 2016, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a motorcycle on Washington Avenue (U.S. #1) just north of Harrison Street.
 
The preliminary investigation revealed that William Roger Ramsey, 52, of Titusville was driving his motorcycle northbound on Washington Avenue when he apparently veered into the median and struck a utility pole just north of Harrison Street.
 
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:52 PM.


There were no other vehicles involved in the traffic crash.
 
Both Northbound and Southbound lanes of Washington Avenue were closed for approximately 2 hours.

 
This crash remains under investigation and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
