CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Detectives Seeking Suspect in Family Dollar Armed Robbery

The Titusville Police Department responded to the Family Dollar Store located at 1415 Garden Street on Tuesday January 5th, 2016 at approximately 4:30 PM in reference to an Armed Robbery.
 
The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid-20’s, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing camouflage shorts, a light blue hoodie sweatshirt with a white “DC” logo on the front and black shoes.
 
The investigation revealed that the suspect showed the clerk that he had a knife and then reached over the counter, grabbed the register drawer and ran out of the store.
 
Titusville Police Detectives are analyzing surveillance footage as well as investigating strong leads in the case.
