Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in U.S. #1 Crash

At 9:48 AM on Tuesday December 29th 2015, Titusville Police Officers responded to a traffic crash with injuries at the intersection of Washington Avenue (U.S. #1) and Coquina Avenue involving a motorcycle and two vehicles.
 
A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle entered South Washington Avenue from Coquina Avenue and struck a northbound motorcycle, the motorcyclist was thrown into the path of another northbound vehicle.
 
The motorcyclist was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries. Northbound Washington Avenue was closed briefly from Jepson Street to Knox McRae Drive but has since reopened.
 
The accident is being investigated by the Titusville Police Department
