CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Armed Robbery

On Friday November 27, 2015 at approximately 1005 hours, a male entered the Days Inn at 3755 Cheney Highway, Titusville.  Once inside, the male produced a note and brandished a firearm to the clerk, in an attempt to rob the business.    
 
The clerk was not injured during the incident, and the male fled the store.  It is believed that the male left in a dark blue sedan, possibly a Volvo.  The male is described as a white male in his mid-twenties to early thirties, wearing a black tee shirt and jeans.
 
This case is still being actively investigated by Detectives.  Updates will be sent as they become available.
