Police Investigating Animal Cruelty of Kitten

Titusville Police Detectives are investigating a possible Animal Cruelty case of three stray kittens found with severe to moderate chemical burns.

On August 7th, 2015, at approximately 3 PM, officers responded to a report of three kittens that were suffering from chemical burns.

The investigation revealed that a resident of the neighborhood, who had been feeding the kittens, saw the fresh wounds and because of their severity, immediately notified police.

It was reported that the kittens were stray and roamed the Pinecrest Street area with no apparent owners.

The kittens were transported to the SPCA of North Brevard for treatment.

There are currently no suspects, however, if anyone has any information about this crime, they are urged to contact the Titusville Police Department at (321) 264-7800.
