The City of Titusville, Florida / Police / NewsProject Targets Intersections with Highest Crash RatesTuesday, May 05, 2015
The Titusville Police Department, and the Florida Department of Transportation, have partnered in a project designed to make certain intersections safer in our community. Beginning on May 5th
, roadside digital boards will display traffic awareness messages at three intersections in Titusville.
This traffic safety awareness project comes on the heels of an evaluation of the approximately two-hundred traffic accidents on Titusville roadways so far in 2015. Nearly sixty of those crashes occurred at the three intersections being targeted with these message boards.
