If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Detectives Investigating Homicide at Local Bar

Detectives are following leads in the shooting homicide at the Lazy Gator Bar on Hopkins Ave that left a 17 year-old Titusville teenager dead.

Officers responded to multiple calls reporting a shooting at 2908 S. Hopkins Ave, just before 2 A.M. on Tuesday morning, May 5th. When they arrived, officers discovered a shooting victim deceased in the parking lot of the business. Patrons of the bar heard a dispute outside  just before the shooting.

The victim, Alvin Gregory Mitchell, 17, of Titusville, died at the scene.
