Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Astronaut Memorial in Sand Point Park

Titusville, Flag and Memorial Committee along with the City of Titusville will present the Annual Astronaut Memorial. Jon McBride, NASA Astronaut, Ret., will be the Special Guest Master of Ceremony, Mike McCulley, NASA Astronaut, will be the keynote speaker. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Betsy Ross and special music will be provided by Sculptor Charter School Choir.
Titusville Mayor James H. Tulley, Jr. and Mike McCulley together, will present the Memorial Wreath in memory of all the fallen Astronauts. Friends and family of the Astronauts are always in attendance and will place flowers on their loved ones plaques, which permanently lay in Sand Point Park below the United States Flag. It is the mission of the Flag and Memorial Committee that we never allow the Astronauts to be forgotten for their great sacrifice.
The community is invited and encouraged to come and pay homage to those who have given their lives in the quest for knowledge through the exploration of space. There is no charge for this event
