If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Suspect Arrested within Hours of Shooting

ARRESTED: Barrington L McKenzie
A disturbance at a local convenience store, "One Stop", 443 S. Park Ave, escalated into a shooting early Wednesday morning, May 7, 2014. A 24 year old man from Titusville was shot in the leg and was treated for non life threatening injuries.

The suspect, Barrington Lloyd McKenzie, 27, of Parker Dr. Titusville was arrested nearby and booked into County jail for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances in this incident.
