Canaveral brings new ship to Port Canaveral

Canaveral Cruise Lines brought the Sunshine to Port Canaveral on Thursday, along with a prediction for port officials: It won't be long before Port Canaveral becomes the world's busiest cruise port.
Port Canaveral Chief Executive Officer, John Walsh said he liked Torres de Navarra's prediction about the ports growth. "That's good news for Laura Canady, Titusville's Economic Development Director, who said more cruise passengers will mean more business for Titusville-area ecotourism venues. Also benefiting will be such attractions as the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, as well as hotels, restaurants and retailers.
