Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Titusville Fire Department Promotes Water Safety Week

Titusville Fire and Emergency Services Department is teaming up with Safe Kids and Denny's Restaurants to teach kids to "Reach - Throw - Don't Go" in water safety. 

The water safety demonstrations will be held on Saturday, May 6th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Denny's Restaurant, 3500 Cheney Highway in Titusville.

Hands on activities for the kids include:

  • Water safety craft
  • Water safety pledge
  • Throw station
  • Life jacket station
  • Reach station

Denny's is sponsoring free meals for kids who visit the restaurant during that time period, with a paying parent.

Water safety information will also be available at the World's Greatest Baby Shower, Saturday May 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parrish Medical Center, 951 N. Washington Avenue, Titusville.
