Titusville Fire Chief Mike Woodward is proud to announce staff promotions within the department.  "I am personally elated that we have personnel within the department whose talents and capabilities enable us to fill these positions internally.  I congratulate Operations Chief Threlkeld and EMS/Training Chief Sutton on their accomplishments and am confident they will perform superlatively in their new positions."

Operations Chief Chris Threlkeld has been with the department for 18 years and has risen steadily through the ranks.  His latest rank prior to his promotion was serving as Battalion Chief for 5 years before filling the position of Operations Chief on an interim basis in November of 2011.  Employed with the department for five years, Battalion Chief Sutton has over 15 years of experience in combined EMS and fire suppresion activities.  A certified paramedic, he also holds instructor credentials in a multiplicity of fields related to department operations and has also served as an adjunct instructor with Brevard Community College within their EMS and Fire Science programs.
