Celebrating 130 Years of Sailing Races on the beautiful Indian River

Where:  Titusville Marina Located North of the Max Brewer Bridge. Race Entry Fee $40 (includes dockage and meal ticket)

When: Saturday June 2nd & Sunday June 3rd          From approx. 12:00 noon – mid afternoon each day
Sponsored by the Titusville Sailing Club & the North Brevard Heritage Foundation, Inc., Titusville Marina and Dixie Crossroads

The Titusville Sailing Club in collaboration with the North Brevard Heritage Foundation, Inc. and the historic Pritchard House is sponsoring a sailing regatta on the Indian River Lagoon in Titusville June 2nd and 3rd 2012, celebrating 130 years of sailing races on the beautiful Indian River.  There will be three classes: boats with Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker, and Catalina 22’s. The race event will be viewable from aloft the new Max Brewer - Titusville Bridge or Sand Point Park from noon Saturday and Sunday until mid afternoon. A private picnic will be held for sailing club members and race participants after the races on Saturday approx. 5:30pm in the historic Pritchard House gardens, with music provided by local Folk Singer Chris Kahl. Sailors will share their racing experiences during the “Full Sails & Tall Tales” session after dinner with winners having full bragging rights. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday after the final race approximately 3:30 PM in the historic Pritchard House gardens. The public is invited to attend. Winners of the Spin/Non-Spin and Catalina 22’s will be awarded trophies three deep in each class. Overall winners will have their names added to the Pritchard Cup, sponsored by Dixie Crossroads.  This is the Inaugural Race for the Pritchard Cup that will remain on display at the Pritchard House. Future annual regatta winner names will be added to the Pritchard Cup.
