The City of Titusville, Florida / Fire & Emergency Services / NewsAvoid Dangers from Individual Fireworks Celebrations-Enjoy Titusville's Community Celebration
The Fourth of July represents joyous celebrations, picnics and family gatherings. Some like to express their enthusiasm through the use of fireworks. But, Titusville’s Fire Chief Mike Woodward cautions, “Although we had a couple of weeks of rain recently, it hasn’t mitigated our overall drought conditions significantly. We want our community to enjoy their celebrations while adhering to the safety and fire prevention regulations that have been put into place to lessen the threat to our city from fires and injuries to our citizens."
Enjoy your fireworks safely this 4th of July. Skip the threat to your family's safety through handling fireworks at home. Instead, attend a professional fireworks display in your area.
Chief Woodward explains, "I would urge all citizens to enjoy Titusville’s Red, White and Boom fireworks celebration planned for Thurday evening July 4th at the Chain of Lakes Park. The event begins at 7 p.m. and includes live music and culminates with a fireworks display that starts at 9:15 p.m. Help protect our community from fires by enjoying your fireworks legally and safely with your neighbors at this event.”
