Thanksgiving Week: Thursday’s pickup for garbage, recycling and yard trash will be on Wednesday. There will be no other changes for the week.

CAUTION: The City of Titusville has received several complaints from citizens in reference to receiving fraudulent telephone calls from subjects claiming to be with the utility department. If you receive a telephone call of this nature and are unsure about the origin of the call, please immediately hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency for further assistance.

Come celebrate the opening of the newly constructed A. Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville.  The event begins Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 8:30 a.m., at the Sand Pointe Park Pavilion adjacent to the new bridge, just off State Road (SR) 406 in downtown Titusville.  The City of Titusville, Brevard County and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are partners in the project and will be hosting the event. 

The ribbon cutting is at 9:00 am immediately followed by the Titusville’s own La France Fire truck and a group of and a group of Model A which will transport members of the Brewer Family across the bridge. Once the cars have departed the 5k race will begin with 350 – 500 runners and walkers crossing the bridge as part of a 5k race.  

Please come out to view the event/ribbon cutting or sign-up for the 5k and receive a T-shirt to commemorate this inaugural event.  Runners always love crowd support so please come out and enjoy the eventeven if you do not wish to run.
